  1. preheat oven tp 475.
  2. Cut squash in half. Scoop out seeds & put cut sice down on a baking sheet..
  3. bake 45 minutes or until squash is soft..
  4. Scrape squash, put in food processor, puree until smooth..
  5. Mix in butter, broth, sage & garlic powder..
  6. Put in medium pot & cook over low heat for several minutes..
  7. Slowly add the cheese and the milk, stirring until the cheese is melted. Thin with additional milk if needed. Add salt & pepper to taste. garnish with nutmeg..
