- preheat oven tp 475.
- Cut squash in half. Scoop out seeds & put cut sice down on a baking sheet..
- bake 45 minutes or until squash is soft..
- Scrape squash, put in food processor, puree until smooth..
- Mix in butter, broth, sage & garlic powder..
- Put in medium pot & cook over low heat for several minutes..
- Slowly add the cheese and the milk, stirring until the cheese is melted. Thin with additional milk if needed. Add salt & pepper to taste. garnish with nutmeg..
